This piece was inspired by the indigenous Igbo peoples of Southeast Nigeria (locally more referred to as "Igboland"). In this composition, artist Chase Uhl oscillates between modern Rap mixtape art flair, 1950's monster film suspense, and accent tradition still practiced to this day. The "Eneke" horn instrument is an integral part of Igbo tradition especially during weddings, child-naming, chieftaincy coronation, and festivals.
